Tailor Made Solutions for your Site
A Container Dome Shelter is really the most versatile option for your remote workstation or site. With a standard range of spans from 6m to 21m wide, you can find a Container Dome that will give you and your Team all the sheltered space they need to work productively while staying sheltered from the elements.
When designing your Container Dome set-up, you should take into consideration not only the size requirements but how, when and why it will be used to ensure you can customise the space to suit your individual needs.
Accessories like Half and Full End Walls will add extra protection from the elements and options like power and lighting will increase productivity by making the space useable 24 hours a day.
Your container layout is also another important element of the initial design. Mounting the Container Dome to the outside edge of the containers will not only assist with keeping the interiors cool, it can add another level of protected storage space to your set-up. As our Container Dome Shelters come with Base Rails as a standard design feature, they can be easily mounted to either the inside or outside edge of your containers without any need for costly modifications to the Container Dome’s design. The Base Rails also create a 100% waterproof seal between the Container Dome and the containers keeping the inside of the set-up dry in the heaviest of rain.
The style and number of containers you use can also maximise the usable space of your set-up. A perfect example of this is our client’s yard in Biloela Queensland. Needing a fully functioning workshop to service vehicles, plant and machinery our client used an 18m x 12m Container Dome Shelter mounted to the inside edge of the containers, maximising the internal workspace.
The internal walls of the side 40ft containers were modified with a series of lockable double doors giving the mechanics easy access to tools, equipment and supplies inside.
To increase the secure storage space of the set-up, another two 20ft containers were added to the rear, opening into the workspace. A steel frame, sheeted wall was erected between the containers and a Half End Wall option added to fully enclose the rear of the workshop.
